If you’re here reading this than you’ve found us by way of a Google search, referral, or you’re already a client and friend who is supporting us with your attention. However you found us, you’re interested in improving your finances for life, which is a great start when it comes to working with a financial services team.

The short answer is financial advisors, and really we’re financial advocates. But in this case the short answer just isn’t enough.

Every good relationship begins somewhere. Perhaps this is the start of ours. It is relationships that are the best part of our practice. Our clients let us into their lives. We’re talking about very personal things. You wouldn’t think that’d be the case, we’re talking about finance, but many times we’re getting into the most important details of your life.

Where you spend your money reflects your values.

We learn about your family and the things that you’re proud of – the things that excite you. It’s an amazing thing to experience. To have someone bestow that level of trust and confidence on you – is really meaningful. And we don’t take that lightly.

Health. Family. Finances. We’ve found that these are the top three things that concern most people. To bring us in to help with one of these is pretty amazing.

For Roger David, 28 years in the industry has gone by so quickly. It seems like yesterday he joined Rob Rinvelt as part of a new firm dedicated to helping people improve their financial lives. Roger always wanted to help people and initially thought he’d be a doctor. But he quickly discovered that he needed to look elsewhere for a career when the sight of blood made him queasy. Rob was an acquaintance who turned into an advocate when Roger’s father passed away and is family needed help navigating estate and inheritance questions. Realizing how much help Rob had been, and with Rob’s encouragement, Roger shifted his career focus to finance and the rest is history.

Through education, planning, and investment strategies tailored to each client’s goals and needs, Roger and Rob built a business and relationships that have lasted the test of time…and market volatility.

Jacob Rinvelt, Rob’s son and Roger’s godson, learned the value of relationships and the importance of being detail-oriented from an early age, observing the work being done at Rinvelt & David when he was just a teenager. When it came time to choose his career path, Jake knew that the financial services industry was the right choice, and he’s been working in finance for over 9 years, observing his dad and “Uncle Rog,” and adding his own education and experience to the offerings at the firm. Jake is a CFP® professional and has met the rigorous education, training, and ethical standards required for the certification. His expertise in the latest financial planning technology combined with Roger’s experience with the unique needs and aspirations of our clients have built a solid foundation for Rinvelt & David that focuses on bringing clarity, certainty, and peace of mind to those looking for a brighter financial future. We’re proud of our work as financial advocates and we’re grateful that our clients have put their trust and confidence in us not just for the short term, but to the achievement of their long-term goals.

We’re a small but mighty team. You know Roger and Jake, and we have 4 outstanding administrative team members who ensure that your appointments (Angie), paperwork (Allison), investment allocations (Julie), and communications (Chelsey) are accurate and tailored to you. The best part about being small is that you’ll get to know all of us. And we’ll get to know you. Your relationship isn’t just with your advisor, but with the whole firm. We offer more than meetings and account statements. We bring life and finances together with educational and social gatherings, timely messaging, and frequent communication to remind you that we’re never far away if you have a question, need clarification, or just want to share what’s going on in your life. We’re here for you throughout your journey and want to be more than a yearly conversation.

With planning as our foundation, we target the three main areas that you want to prepare for most – retirement, investment, and life events. Not only will we discuss your IRA, 401(k), and ROTH accounts to see where your income will come from, we’ll go even further to determine your risks in retirement and make sure you’re planning for healthcare costs that are often underestimated. Our investment management services include risk management and asset allocation, as well as estate, tax, and insurance planning. And financial planning for life events like job changes, marriage, and growing your family gives you more power to control and manage your expenses, income, and investments.

We’ll focus on what matters most to you and will do the math for you in the form of your own financial plan to provide you with a clear and accurate picture of your financial future. And we won’t stop there. We’ll be here for analysis, insights, education, researched recommendations, and answers to any questions that come up along your journey. We want to help you reach that sigh of relief knowing that it’s going to be okay… and hopefully better than okay…because we’ve done the math and you can see the outcome!

So that’s enough about us, for now…that’s what phone calls, emails, and meetings are for. Let’s get into talking about finances for life.

Thanks for reading and we hope you come back for more.
