Jason began his career at Rinvelt & David in the spring of 2024 as a Support Advisor, where he focused on building financial plans, preparing client review meetings, and creating custom analytic spreadsheet solutions for planning and internal processes. During this time, he worked closely, for over 12 months, with former Director of Operations, Julie Wagemaker, to revamp and modernize key internal systems and processes—laying the foundation for his transition into her role after her retirement in 2025.
In his current position as Director of Operations, Jason oversees every account setup, investment change, transaction request, and form submission, ensuring each process runs smoothly and is meticulously tracked. He also built an internal integration across many of the firm’s key software systems, enabling custom reporting that provides valuable insights to better manage internal systems, provide “real-time” reporting and provide more consistent, timely client service. Basically, he’s a self-proclaimed nerd but he’s the R&D nerd, and the team loves him for it.
Jason graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business with a degree in Finance as part of the Financial Planning & Wealth Management Program, finishing at the top of the program. His academic work satisfied the education requirement for the CFP® exam, and he has passed both the SIE and Series 7 exams. He is currently pursuing his Series 66 license and plans to obtain the CFP® designation.
Outside of work, Jason recently became an uncle to two little nephews and enjoys spending time watching them do baby things with the rest of his family. He also enjoys playing chess, cheering on Detroit sports, and playing far too aggressively in a recreational baseball league.
