Since joining Rinvelt & David almost 11 years ago, Jake has worked hard to distinguish himself as a leader in financial planning. He earned his CFP® certification just four years into his career, demonstrating his commitment to holistic planning and always serving the clients’ best interests first and foremost.
As a lead advisor, Jake has played a key role in shaping the firm’s planning department, helping Roger create processes, implement new technology, and train team members to consistently deliver exceptional client experiences. Clients often describe Jake as tech savvy, personable, and empathetic. He combines analytical expertise with a client‑first mindset to develop comprehensive financial plans that help families pursue their goals and dreams.
Jake graduated from Grand Valley State University’s Seidman College of Business, where he studied finance, international business, and Arabic. A proud Grand Rapids native and one of three siblings, he’s a triplet, he values a strong family-first foundation his parents instilled in him. Jake and his wife, Jamal, enjoy spending time with both sides of their family, often traveling to Ohio to visit her family. Outside of work, he can usually be found cheering for University of Michigan sports teams or embracing his Lebanese heritage and faith as an Antiochian Orthodox Christian.
